Loot Distribution

Base principle: loot will be distributed equally over the guild members

Driver for this principle is our 'non hard core base' which will lead to a variety of changes in raid setup from week to week. Hence, distribution cannot happen thru the 'DKP' system as that will mostly serve the guys/girls always signing up, hence significant upgrades for non hardcores will not be utilized as good as it can.

1. Definition: need roll: roll for your current spec. Greed roll: roll for your offspec.

2a. Loot list premier distinguisher is based on www.wow-loot.com. Primairy class goes first, 2ndairy as second priority etcetera.

2b. After 2a has been adhered to, further distribution is based on the LootList on the forum. Every member needs to make his/her lootlist on the items which he/she wants from bosses. 3 items max per slot, if you exceed, please contact your ClassCoach. Lootlist since ICC not used (yet).


2c. In case you already needed on an item, your roll will lose priority vs other people who need roll and did not win a 'need' roll yet. Meaning, people who had the least number of  'need' rolls will always have more priority over someone who already had a need roll. The current week is the benchmark.

Example.
Hunter 1 already won a need roll.
Warrior 1 got nothing so far.
When an item drops, hunter 1 needs, rolls 96. Warrior 1 needs, rolls 2. Warrior 1 wins because hunter 1 already had an item on a 'need' roll.

2d. When you roll, it means formally you want the item.

2e. Lootmaster will compare 2a, b, c and finally the roll will determine where the item goes to.

3. Example of how loot will be distributed.
4 toons have the Envoy of Mortality on their lootlist. A hunter who already had loot, a hunter who had no loot, a rogue and a dps warrior.

a) Kel'Thuzad is dead and drops Envoy of Mortality.
b) Lootmaster determines priority based on wow-loot.com. Hunters have primair priority, followed by DPS warrior and rogue as secondary.
c) Lootmaster checks item on the LootList page, he can find 2 hunters, a dps warrior and a rogue having this on their need list. However hunters have primairy loot priority.
d) People who are primairy user of the item are invited to roll. Hence in this case, the hunters will be asked to roll as the only class.
e) Highest roll counts.. however to ensure the 'equal sharing' principle:
f) Rolls of people who already had more 'need' loot then others rolling will be forfeited. Hence people who did not get anything are not dependend on the luck of the dice. In this case, the hunter who had the item on his list but already had some loot is in bad luck, the gun would have gone to the hunter who had no loot yet.
High geared hunters are much more likely to get end boss gear, because the already most likely will have the low bosses drops. So they still carry and advantage in this system though less as dkp.

4. Greedrolls will cost from now on 100G/item. Anything not needed is available thru greed -> simple highest roll principle counts. Payment needs to happen after the raid by depositing 100g in our guild bank. Please deposit latest the day after the raid ended.

5. BoE items which are not need rolled, will go straight for GB which will sell these in AH or to you for 70% of the normal value. Please note: we want you to use the item and we do not want you to sell it on.

6. Few named hybrid classes are exeptions for getting greed rolls for free. This means we want them to have loot because they can be asked to have a 2ndairy spec ready if the raid requires it. Hence, they have more rights than a 'greed' but less than a 'greed'.
These ppl and their offspecs are Rampo (DPS), Raines (DPS/Tank on Swipe), Darkhaus (DPS - Tank). Same rules apply, only roll if this is a significant upgrade. Ulduar will require flex in the raid and this is our solution.

In addition:
a) lootmaster call is final.
b) in case of discussion, please after the raid. Not during. Discussion during raids is a violation of our raid rules.
c) if an item is on your lootlist, you are expected to roll.
d) updates on the lootlist can be requested thru : Quintro Loot List Update Document. Be aware, verify with the Classcoach if this is ok to do - we prefer to keep the number of updates as low as we can (workload).
Lootlist not used in ICC (yet).
